Most of you know by now that on 11th Oct last year I was diagnosed with a plum-sized inoperable tumour in my head. It was classed as inoperable because of it’s position around the carotid artery and in the skull base. I was told I needed radiotherapy and their best hope was to stop it growing and hopefully shrink it.
6 days later I attended a church prayer night where I was anointed with oil and hands laid on for prayer. One of the prayer warriors there gave me the verse from John 11 v 4 “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s son may be glorified through it” About a week later, a close friend also gave me it’s matching verse at verse 40 “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” A couple of week’s later I was seeking God for my own promise from Him about this trail and He again confirmed the story of Lazarus and the above verses.
    Then it began to happen…..!
God was breaking into other people’s lives because of what was happening to me!! A friend I hadn’t spoken to in 8yrs left me a voicemail saying she was about to turn her back on God. Her marriage had broken down and she was at the end of herself; but when she read my facebook messages a new hope rose inside her. I saw her yesterday, she is back in the centre of God’s arms, resting in His love and miraclously (after 8months of no contact) her husband has asked if they can work on their marriage again. Praise God!
Another lady became a Christian shortly after hearing me shout “Jesus” very loudly in church one Sunday morning!
My non Christian friends at One Tots have not only commented on how amazingly at peace I seem about all this, but have even said they are praying for me! Many other non-Christian family and friends are doing the same!
I have had the privilege of sharing Jesus more now than almost any other time in my life. Colleagues at work (whom we have prayed for for years) are saying they’re praying.
But more than this, God’s peace in me, is changing how all these people are thinking and feeling about God.
Greg’s work colleagues, who only a short while back ridiculed him for his faith, now openly state how amazed they are how he’s still not only trusting God, but thanking Him for His goodness.

In short, GOD IS AMAZING and is getting ALL the glory!!

And then God continued to show His love and power.
Against all the odds, we got a referal to The Royal Marsden Hospital in London. The initial registra stated he thought that what we were being offered in Cheltenham was the best avaliable to me. Our hearts sank and I start praying in the spirit non-stop, even whilst they were examining me. The top guy in Europe then makes room in his busy schedule to come and see my scans (!) He comes into the room…..and states it IS operable!!! He’ll remove 75-85% of it and obliterate the rest with radiotherapy. He’s confident enough to say he’s almost certain it won’t reoccur in that area again.

Words aren’t enough! What a God?! How amazing, faithful, wonderful. Always wanting and saving the best for His children; always perfect timing; perfect love; never fails.

The best part of all is that I know God’s not finished yet!! I am 100% convinced that God will do exactly as He said – Jesus will continue to be glorified through this. I have faith to believe many lives will be changed and many saved. By His stripes I am healed – that’s my seed – and by the end of this year what stories of breakthrough will be told!!!

    AWESOME.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Jesus.

    :)

Thank you Lord for answered prayer for Nic!

We’ve been praying for Hugh’s father who’s just undergone radiotherapy treatment for prostrate cancer. Heard last week that the cancer is now in remission.

Also for our neighbour who had to undergo radical surgery just before Christmas for skin cancer on her face. She saw the consultant last week who was amazed at how well the scar has healed and then told her that ‘miraculously’ the cancer had not spread to anywhere else.

    Amazing God we thank you!

Nic what a great testimony. One Tots gives us all the opportunity to share our testimonies and the miracles we have seen in our lives with non christians.

Well, hey isn’t God good! It’s really good to hear people’s testimonies.

I have had a double blessing

As some of my close friends will know last year I was really suffering with fatigue to the point that at some times I was needing 12 hours sleep a day. The doctors prescribed me medication which is a stimulant to keep me awake. In the new year I decided that I would stop the medication and that God was going to give me the energy I needed. So far I have been pretty good and definitely a lot better than before. (I had discussed this with my GP previously so please don’t just give up a prescription drug without speaking to your doctor).

The Second blessing came last Sunday afternoon when I was walking down through the skate park into town. (potentially nandos) ;-)

As I was walking through I was stopped by 3 lads who asked me if I would rap for them (I’m sorta known for this in that area) I proceeded to rap the Gospel to them. This led onto conversations about whether I pray or not. Of course I pray I answered. “don’t people get annoyed when you go around praying” they asked. My response, “well obviously I don’t go around forcing people to let me pray for them, but if they want me to then I absolutely will pray for them……. “will you pray for us?” I then proceeded to have the opportunity to pray for them and speak God’s love over them as well as share my own testimony.

This was amazing because I know that God has put a real burning fire in my heart for children and young people and I have been praying over that skate park for months now as I believe it is going to be the site of a revival. Every time I go down there to do my super high 4 inch jumps on the dirt track I pray for that place.

My seeds that I am planting are for continued health improvement and that, that one encounter would be the log removed from the dam that will cause it to disintegrate and allow God to gush through our city. I cannot wait for the time we hear teenagers casually chatting with their mates, saying you never guess what God did last weekend. I’m believing for a time when God encounters become expected.

I thank God for the promise,’Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance,so that after you have done the will of God,you may receive the promise’(Heb.10:35-36) Our breakthrough in health, provision, and blessing in life, family, church community and mission happens as we maintain our confidence in our Mighty breakthrough God!

I started self employment last year as a driving instructor after 18 months unemployment. Building up the hours and getting enough pupils is quite challenging. Breakthrough Prayer week was what I needed. I had been getting 2 new pupils on average every 3 weeks, during the 3 prayer weeks I received 8, QUADRUPLE my normal, thank you Lord, and others who have prayed and encoraged. Business is still growing and although I’m not out the woods yet, Gods word says we will reap a harvest with perseverance…..

Got something to say?
